The Pompeii and Vesuvius Tour is available for you and your friends or family for up to 4 people. If you prefer, you can travel by yourself, as solo traveller.  The excursion will be headed by an experienced local guide, who speaks English and Spanish. Longobardi Travel will pick you up from your Hotel or Port Terminal with a Mercedes to begin your TOUR.

You will visit the archeological site of Pompeii.  Excursion to Mount Vesuvius  & Wine Tasting Tour in a local Winery.  There will be a lunch break and also time for shopping.

The Pompeii and Vesuvius Tour

Take the opportunity to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius, the most visited sites in the Campania region! Discover how the stories of the two places have always intersected and live a day in the spirit of Campania culture, enjoying local wine tasting.

First, your guide will show you the landmarks of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, including the baths, the Lupanare frescoes, the Macellum, and the Basilica. After the Pompeii tour, drive to the National Park, climb Mount Vesuvius and stop at a typical restaurant located in a panoramic point along the slopes of the volcano.
Enjoy your lunch with wine tasting made locally. Your driver will take you to 1000 meters and then you will walk to the actual top of the volcano to see the crater.  At the summit, you can choose to enjoy an explanation from a professional National Park tour guide, or simply peer into the crater on your own.
You will admire the peak of Monte Somma (1133 m) and the cone of Vesuvius (1281 m) separated by a valley, called Valle del Gigante.
